Keith Edwards
Chartered FCSI and Chartered Financial Planner.

Keith leads the investment management process and service offered by Casterbridge Wealth. He has many years of experience at director level both in the dynamic independent sector and the institutional market, through working at BWD Rensburg, Church House Investments and latterly Quilter Cheviot. He is a Chartered Wealth Manager and Chartered Financial Planner, and a senior member of the exam panel process for the CISI’s level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager qualification.

Keith is a trustee in a number of capacities including being the independent charitable  trustee for the Military and Hospitaller Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem.

Outside of work Keith enjoys playing chess with the National Liberal Club, listening to live music of all sorts and spending time with his family in Cornwall.

Kevin Forbes FPFS
Chairman and Compliance Director

Kevin’s commitment to the financial services began in 1988. Since then he has successfully fulfilled advisory and management roles across the industry, including Banking (Lloyds TSB), Industrial Branch (Liverpool Victoria), Direct Sales Force (Abbey Life & Sun Life of Canada) and IFA (Positive Solutions and Strategic Solutions).

He is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Wealth Manager with the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments. Kevin also holds a Certificate in Discretionary Fund Management, sits on a CISI exam board and is a Pensions Advisory Service volunteer adviser. He has also been Chairman of the Hampshire and Dorset region Personal Finance Society for over 3 years.

Kevin is the Chairman of the Casterbridge Wealth Compliance committee.

Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, his daughters Jodie and Madeline and their two dogs. He’s proud to be Chairman of the Dorset Deaf Children’s Society. He’s sometimes proud to be a football, cricket, F1 and NFL fan, depending on the results. He’s also keen on a glass of wine.

Allan Cruse FPFS
Finance Director

Allan entered financial services in 1992, working for the Halifax Building Society in various roles including retail branch manager and senior personal financial adviser.

In 2009 he became an IFA, first with Positive Solutions and then Strategic Solutions. He is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society a Chartered Financial Planner a Chartered Wealth Manager with the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments and a Chartered Associate of the London Institute of Banking and Finance.

He is a committee member of the Hants & Dorset PFS region and President of the Bournemouth Chartered Insurance Institute. He is also an Associate of the Society of Later Life Advisers and an Associate of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Allan enjoys spending time with his wife Lorraine and their two sons, Michael and Jordan.  He’s also a keen supporter of the English rugby team.

Jefferson Fawcett
Deputy Chief Investment Officer

Jefferson’s career in financial services began at the National Westminster Bank in 1988. He worked his way up to senior financial planner, before leaving to embrace a new challenge, managing High Net Worth clients as an independent financial adviser, at Woolwich Financial Services.

In 2007, Jeff set up his own IFA business with Positive Solutions. While there, he spotted an opportunity and left to set up the now award winning Strategic Solutions Financial Services in 2010.  He is their current Chief Investment Officer and holds a certificate in discretionary fund management. Jefferson is also studying for Chartered Financial Adviser status.

Jeff is married with two children. In his spare time he enjoys the odd round of golf and has recently started Thai Boxing in an effort to get fit.

Giles Wellington
Marketing Director

Giles’ career in financial services began at the National Westminster Bank in 1986. After developing his skills as a senior financial adviser there, he made the move to become an Independent Financial Adviser in 1999.

Since then, he has successfully set up his own IFA business as a partner with Positive Solutions before becoming one of the founder partners of Strategic Solutions. Giles holds a certificate in discretionary fund management from the CII and the CISI Private Client Investment Advice & Management. He is now studying for his final exam to gain Chartered Financial Adviser status.

Giles sits on the Casterbridge Wealth Risk committee.

Outside of work Giles enjoys most sports but his main passion is for cricket. He still turns out occasionally but most often will be seen following the England cricket team overseas. Giles has been instrumental in organizing many successful charity events for the England supporters’ group, the Barmy Army, raising tens of thousands of pounds for local charities around the cricketing world. Luckily Giles is married to a cricket loving wife.
