Keith Edwards
CEO & Lead Investment manager
Keith began his career in financial services in 1991 and
has worked with clients as the focus of his professional life to the present
day, and in his 30 years of experience has learnt many valuable lessons from
colleagues, financial advisers, and their clients.
Keith has worked at director level for 20 years; at BWD
Rensburg (now Investec), Church House Trust and latterly Quilter Cheviot. Each
of these firms gave him the opportunity to experience being responsible for
discretionary fund management, business development, operational excellence,
and supervising others within those roles.
This was what he
needed to help create Casterbridge Wealth Investments as an independent
investment company working closely with its independent financial adviser
partners and their clients.
Keith is a Chartered fellow of the Institute for
Securities and Investment (CISI), as well as a chartered financial Planner
within the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
He has been the chairman of the CISI Applied Wealth
Management exam panel for the last decade, the exam being the final paper for
candidates to achieve the level 7 qualification in Wealth Management.
In what spare time
Keith has left, he is a trustee of The Military and Hospitaller Order of St
Lazarus of Jerusalem Charitable trust that focuses on the treatment of Leprosy
and the care of its sufferers. He also values the business experience being a
long time non-executive director of Higgi Limited gives him.
Keith loves live
music of all kinds, plays cricket with his village team and cooks for friends
and family (Lemon chicken is his wife Alison’s favourite).
