Claude joined Casterbridge Wealth in December 2017 as Compliance Officer and deputy MLRO (Money Laundering reporting Officer). He supports the team with the day-to-day guidance on regulatory matters as well as managing the reporting requirements of a regulated firm. The aim being to ensure great outcomes for our clients.

As the business has grown Claude has actively developed his role to encompass Risk Management, attaining his Diploma in Investment Compliance in 2019 and most recently completing further studies during this last Lockdown to become Casterbridge Wealth’s MLRO. 

Claude studied Biology at Plymouth University and after working for a period in the licensed trade including working for Oddbins the Wine Merchant, he joined the Financial Services Industry. After working in several SIPP (Self-invested Personal Pension), life administrative and finally compliance roles with such companies as MetLife, Aviva, James Hay and Old Mutual, Claude made the break from the large firms to join the team at Casterbridge Wealth.

Outside of work Claude enjoys being out in the fresh air and keeps active with running and cycling. Like most of the team at Casterbridge Wealth Claude is also a foodie whether he’s baking brownies or creating his own take on world cuisine. He also enjoys taking summer touring holidays with his family.
